In Aba, Abia state a member of a robbery gang who was stealing was burnt to death by Angry mob.

The armed robber who was identifed as Tochukwu alias “Toboy”, was the only son of his parents, according to eye witness was killed along Azikiwe road.

There was another member who escaped by name 'Wayo Boy' said a reporter Wayo Boy was beaten but the angry mob thought he was dead and left him but was later discovered that some people took him to an undisclosed hospital for treatment.

According to our reporter three men from keke na pep snatched the handbag of a woman and drove off who was waiting for a taxi at Ama Ogbonna bus stop.

Luckily for the woman there was  a bus driver who witnessed what happened there and  decided to help the woman by chasing after the  robbers.

The driver double crossed the robbers at Azikiwe road by St. Joseph’s junction where he started shouting and calling people to come that they are arm robbers.

People gathered and started beating  them Tochukwu was said to have died from the wounds he sustained so they decided to burn him.

It was later discovered that the keke na pep was bought to support Toboy financially by his in-laws.
